A look at the latest Welsh football gossip including rumours of Premier League giants are after Gareth Bale’s signature and more.


The sacking of Rafael Benitez at Real Madrid has believed to upset Welsh star Gareth Bale indicating new hope for Manchester United to make the transfer this month. According to the Independent, the Galacticos will be asking for £75 million plus. (The Independent)


Crystal Palace are expected to be launching a bid for Swansea City forward Jonjo Shelvey. The South Wales football club are valuing Shelvey for around £10 million. The England international was left out of Swansea’s trip to Old Trafford last Saturday. (The Telegraph)


Swansea are also eyeing a replacement for Shelvey as they rejoin the race for Chelsea striker Loic Remy on loan. Fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Aston Villa have their interests in adding Remy to their squad. (Club Call)


Cardiff City striker Kenwynne Jones is in talks with Abu Dhabi club Al Jazira. Shanghai SIPG manager Sven Goran Eriksson has also expressed his interests in the Trinidad & Tobago international. (Daily Mail)


Wrexham AFC midfielder Lee Fowler has said he wants to stay at the club. The 32-year-old joined last summer on-loan from Tamworth but has only made one start and five substitute appearances. (The Leader)
