Tell us a bit about yourself

I am 44 and live with my partner and four cats. She is the ‘mad cat lady’ and I am their butler who has to feed them!

I have three amazing daughters and two cool stepsons. I have worked in banking and car sales, but in 2014, I started full time study of a  Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Communications degree.

I follow the Toronto Maple Leafs and have seen them play twice: once at home against the Ottawa Senators and once at Madison Square Garden vs the New York Rangers. They lost both times!

Sporting moment I would relive?

the 1980 ‘Miracle on Ice’. Lake Placid Olympics. Ice Hockey gold medal game. USSR v USA. They even made a film about it – ‘Miracle’ starring Kurt Russell.

This is an ABC News ‘looking back’ piece which nicely describes the background too.
