Here is the second half of the mid-week ‘Porter’s Premier League Predictions’. Some of tonight’s games include Arsenal vs Manchester United, Newcastle vs Tottenham, Stoke vs Swansea and Fulham vs Liverpool.

All kick-offs at 7:45pm unless stated.

Arsenal vs Manchester United – Manchester United enter this game after a disappointing performance against Fulham at the weekend and will be looking for retribution. Arsenal will love this as they haven’t lost at home in the Premier League since August last year. With Arsenal also having only conceded the least amount of goals at home in the league and Manchester United’s form is in question, I can easily see Arsenal picking up all three points tonight. This will be Arsenal’s first win against Manchester United since May 2011.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United

Everton vs Crystal Palace – Everton need to win this game in order to get their aspirations of a top four finish back on track. Without a recognised striker, this might be difficult. Crystal Palace have done well since the arrival of Tony Pulis and now are three points clear of the relegation zone so they must keep this form going if they want to play Premier League football next season. Everton though have been undefeated in 20 of their last 21 home games in the Premier League so points might be hard to come by for Crystal Palace this evening. Everton should dominate possession but without a proper striker, I see a narrow win on the cards.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace

Manchester City vs Sunderland – After only managing a draw to Norwich at

the weekend, Manchester will be looking to get back to winning ways today against Sunderland to keep their title hopes alive. The loss of Wes Brown for Sunderland might make the job of securing all three points easier for Manchester City, but Sunderland has won two out of the last three meetings between the sides. Nevertheless, the quality of this Manchester City side should allow them to earn all the points tonight.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Sunderland

Newcastle vs Tottenham – A European spot is quickly falling out of Newcastle’s reach as recent injuries and poor form has seen them fall to the middle of the table. Tottenham on the other hand are still in touch with fourth after picking up a win against Everton. Newcastle has failed to score in six of their last seven league games. Tottenham are undefeated in their last six away league games so I think Tottenham will pick up all the points this evening with Emmanuel Adebayor on the score board.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-3 Tottenham

Stoke vs Swansea – The three points in this fixture mean a lot as it is a mid table clash that could see either team jump to 10th if they win and results go their way. As well as this, a loss could put either one of these sides outside the relegation zone if other results go against them as well. Stoke’s home form has been much better than their away form this season and with Swansea having failed to win their last six away games in the Premier League, I think Stoke will win tonight’s match with Peter Odemwingie scoring.

Prediction: Stoke 2-0 Swansea

Fulham vs Liverpool (K.O. 8pm) – You may think Liverpool are stern favourites for this tie after picking up all three points in an impressive win of 5-1 against Arsenal at the weekend. You would be right in thinking so. Despite picking up the draw against Manchester United, I can’t see Fulham getting anything against this inform Liverpool side. Liverpool are undefeated in their last six league games and Fulham have failed to win in their last five league games so it’s really no question where all three points are going this evening. Sturridge should score this evening as well.

Prediction: Fulham 0-3 Liverpool

RECAP:

Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United
Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace
Manchester City 3-0 Sunderland
Newcastle 1-3 Tottenham
Stoke 2-0 Swansea
Fulham 0-3 Liverpool
