OLIVER HAWKINS WHO MISSED THE LAST GAME AGAINST WELLING DUE TO BACK INJURY OPENS HIS ACCOUNT BY BAGGING A HAT TRICK YESTERDAY AS DAGENHAM SWEPT WREXHAM ASIDE TO WIN 3-0 DESPITE SHAWN JALAL’S BESTS EFFORTS.

Oliver Hawkins was feeling like a kid a candy shop after multiple of defensive errors led to him to be able to bag himself a hat trick in yesterday’s game

The first goal came in the tenth minute after a misplaced shot from Okenabirhie found it’s way into the path of Oliver Hawkins who tapped home an easy open goal.

Wrexham however did have chances to pull level after a free kick was awarded on the outside of the area however it was well over hit and didn’t trouble The Daggers keeper.

The next goal came in the 28th minute from a Jordan Maguire-Drew’s corner which was powerfully headed home by Hawkins who later converted a penalty on the brink of half time which all but sealed the victory.

In the second half Wrexham look the brighter side when just after a near miss from Hawkins, Bencherif had a long powerful drive from outside the box which narrowly went over the bar.

Maguire-Drew later almost capitalizing over poor defensive mistake allowed him to cut inside although It was excellently saved by Jalal.

After the game Gary mills had this to say:

‘We were second best all over the park we deserved what we got’

‘we have to get over this very very quickly’
